Dynamic Drop Down - using Unique & Filter formulas

Hi Folks,

Thanks for taking the time to review this - appreciated.

Is it possible to use the following as a formula to determine the list in a drop down box, rather than have to create that list somewhere else in the Excel sheet?

=unique(filter(SubDept,Dept=a1))

No you can't. The formula will need to go in a cell & then the DV needs to refer to that cell.
