Is there a tool in Excel 2016 that allows you to create a dynamic graph? By that I mean you write out a few parameters at the top of a spreadsheet and the graph goes and gets the data where it needs it from elsewhere in your sheet and updates itself. My guess is this process will have to be broken down into different steps, but I want to get some input as to what approach would be best. My first guess would be using macros and some more simple MATCH functions to feed the data into the graph.

Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).

Can you have a graph that updates itself without any of the other functionality I mentioned?
