i need a list of distinct values from my "table_1[col_x]" to be displayed in another "table_2[col_y]".
additionally, "table_2" consists of several columns and i need the list of distinct values in "table_2[col_y]" to be connected to the source data and fully integrated, so not just some array 'spill' list but something which can be sorted along with other data in "table_2" and updates if changes have been made to the source

is this even possible in excel?
