Hey there,

I am running into an error when using the forumla stated in the following tutorial.

http://www.datawright.com.au/excel_resources/expanding_pivot_tables.htm

More specifically when i add it the the "RefersTo" section of define names dialouge box, it highlights the "$A:$A" in the countA portions of the formula.

Here is the formula for my worksheets: =OFFSET(RawData!$A$1,0,0,COUNTA(RawData!$A$A),10)

where the SheetName is "RawData" and then range is 10 columns wide.

any ideas what i'm doing wrong?

Tuk

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Don't you miss the : in the COUNTA formula?
