Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)

If you're using Excel 2007 or later...

Let's assume you want the sequence filled starting in cell A1 down to A800.

Enter 2905000 in cell A1

With cell A1 still selected...
  • Goto the Home tab>Editing group>Fill
  • Series
  • Columns
  • Stop value: 2905800
  • OK
