If I define a range as A1 thru K1 and I have formulas in C1 and D1, how can I have the formulas replicate themselves in each new row as new rows get added to the range?

Convert the area into a list by means of Data|List|Create List if you are on Excel 2003 or beyond.

Hmmm, however, it doesn't work when the sheet is protected. What can be done?
