Dynamic starting reference for offset formula

Hi,

My question would be if there is an option to automatically update the starting reference of the offset formula in order to correspond to today's current date.

I want to graph daily data that shows the results of today's date, and that for the next 7 days. In my table, the date is classed in it's own column, with the corresponding data associated to it on it's right. My plan was to simply use the offset function in order to retrieve the desired data without manually going into the graph itself as there are quite many. I'm having trouble setting the reference cell equalling to today's date, and I was hoping if someone here knew how to do so.

Without your existing offset formula as a starting point, this is just a guess.

=OFFSET($B$1,MATCH(TODAY(),$A:$A,0),0,7,17)

Thank you very much, my original formula wasn't far off from yours. However, when I input this offset formula it appears to give me data only for the very next day and does not include the current day. I've tried playing with it without any success. Is there a way to incorporate the current date's data into the formula?

Nevermind, I have found my mistake. Thanks for your help!

Not sure how you corrected it, but I notice that I missed a correction factor in the suggested formula, when using MATCH with OFFSET it is usually necessary to subtract 1 from the MATCH result.

=OFFSET($B$1,MATCH(TODAY(),$A:$A,0)-1,0,7,17)

I corrected it using the exact same formula that you just posted. I simply incorporated the -1 into the equation.
