I need a flexible setup that allows me to respond to questions as they arise.
The information will be something like:
Staff Division Model A no overtime Model B limited overtime Model C full overtime
Jack HR 50 60 70
Sara Operations 30 40 50
Tom Casual 25 40 60
Peter Casual 25 40 60
Harry Operations 35 45 55
Bert HR 70 80 90

No. of hours required 5
Total cost for ……
I need to be able to quickly show what the total cost will be if we only use HR staff and then what would happen if we use Model B with HR staff, or if we use Casual staff for Model A and Operations staff with Model C.
Thus it does require quite a dynamic approach. The total cost should then read HR with Model B will cost ....., it should also change once the criteria change so that if a new model is requested then it will read Operations with Model C is ....
I was thinking drop-down boxes but haven't been able to progress this too far at this stage, the actual calculation is immaterial but for the sake of the example could be 5 multiplied by the hourly cost in the table.
