Here's my mock data (there should be spaces between Jones and 1/5/05, David and 3/5/06, etc..):

Worksheet A:
Column A Column B
Jones 1/5/05
David 3/5/06
Lewis 2/3/03
Smith 12/6/06

Worksheet B:
Column A Column B
Jeffries
Jones
Smith
Steingold

What I need is a formula that will write in Column B of Worksheet B the
dates of any matching names (between Column A of Worksheet A and Column A of Worksheet B). So, for this example, the product of the formula would be that Column B (of Worksheet B) shows the dates for Jones + Smith, and would show nothing (meaning, a blank field) for the other names.

Thanks for any help!

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.

In Column B of the worksheet B, place this formula:

Code:
=IF(ISERROR(VLOOKUP(A1,Sheet1!$A$1:$B$4,2,0)),"",VLOOKUP(A1,Sheet1!$A$1:$B$4,2,0))
