Hello I have the following formula:

=IF(D24="< empty ><EMPTY>",TODAY(),D24)

Rather than showing "todays date" (or the existing result in D24) I would like it to show a specific date such as "20/20/2020"

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Use the DATE function or coerce a string to the required date:

=IF(D24="< empty >",DATE(2011,7,20),D24)

=IF(D24="< empty >","20 July 2011"+0,D24)

There isn't such a date as 20/20/2020, but you can use the DATEVALUE function to return a serial date from a string, eg:

=DATEVALUE("25/12/2011")
