Ok, I have an easy one for you, but I cannot figure it out. I need a macro that copies a cell in the L column then paste it back to that same cell, then move down to the next row in the same column. I need to do this to trigger a change of existing data to trigger another VBA program. Any help would be appreciated.

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.

Have you tried the macro recorder?

Are you using a Change or Calculate event?

I am actually using both.

I am using the calculate to apply formatting to the row and change to add the date that some data was changed.

I tried to use the macro recorder but wouldn't I have to go through each cell to record it. That would be over 2000 cells.
