Easy Time Conversion

I am using a sheet that calculates scores based on time. The sheet requires the time to be in a decimal format, i.e 13.51

However, the database I pull the info from uses this format: 13:51

Is there a quick way I can convert the numbers? I have tried to relace the : with a . but it changes the cell formatting.

Thanks in Advance

Rob

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
You could convert in another column, e.g. if you have 13:51 in A1 then use this formula in B1

=TEXT(A1,"hh.mm")+0

and format B1 as a number
