Hey guys.

I have recently started to be emailed building consent lists each Monday, the sales team ideally need these sheets sorted by consent value which I can only do by deleting columns from I onward however this info is also needed. The sheet is partly merged by consent with multiple owners against each one which is why I currently have to delete columns I onwards. I can copy past information or use the concatenate formula easily enough to combine the information however this will not work as the year progresses and the data on the sheets increases substantially.

Any way to essentially do the concatenate formula but without having to go through each row typing it out.

The number of owners varies per consent so i cannot even just work off a basic rule, I have attached a pic of a demo sheet below.

Thanks.

Excel Facts

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.

I am not sure if I understand your requirements completely.

However, if you want to join multiple cells of data, you can use TEXTJOIN function which is available in
  • Excel for Office 365, Excel 2019, Excel 2016.
An example is given below.

The formula is =TEXTJOIN("",1,A1:D1)

Kind regards

Thanks, that works as a quicker form of concatenate.

I can copy paste the main body of this and then just drag the last part.
