I have a sheet with many fields that include validation. I want to edit the validation of all those cells that already contain validation without affecting other cells. Some cells have different validations, but I weant all the ones with validation currently to be the same.

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
That's not clear to me. Can you try again?

What version of Excel are you using?

Using 2010.

I have different groups of cells with different validation rules on one sheet. I want to make all those cells have the same validation without changing other cells on the sheet which have no validation.
Thanks

Try
F5|Special...|Data Validation|All|OK

That should select all your DV cells. You could then go into the DV dialog and
- if all the cells have the same DV, just edit to what you want.

- if all the cells do not have the same DV, erase the current DV settings then set the new DV.
