Edit write protected excelbooks by a main excelbook ?

Hi

I have a couple of write protected excelbooks that I want to be opened up and edited by a main excelbook. I.e.the main excelbook contains the password needed to have the write access for the other excelbooks.

Is there a way to do this ? To have these write protected excelbooks to be edited through a main excelbook.

(The reason is that I would like to control though VBA program what and how things will be edited in the Excelbooks)
