Hi,
I have some 50 number of cells filled up with digits..
Now each cell I want it to convert it in to formula, so whatever figure it contains i want to add "=" before it and "/24" divide by 24..
doing same thing 50 times is cumbersome process. Could anyone guide me how to do it quickly.

Does it need to be a formula, or do you just need to divide the numbers by 24? This can be done without formulas using paste special, there is a guide on how to do this if you follow the link below.

Paste special just straight away divides x amount by 24. but when we type formula say " =1200/24" in a cell it shows result but if you click on cell it shown you formula as well. That doesn't happen in paste special. So later if want to divide same input amount by 30 instead of 24, with paste special i have to multiply it by 24 back again and then divide it to 30.
so is there any way that all cells will be converted in "=X/24" format?

In that case it would be better to use the next column for the formulas. If your numbers are in A1:A50, then enter =A1/24 into B2 and fill it down.
