Editing or adding "With" commands always resets VBA projects... Any way to avoid this?

Hi guys, if I have a With command (With Selection, etc), and I break the macro to then edit it or add something new, it always resets the project and means I have to re-run my macro up to the break point and hope that the changes I made were sufficient.

Can this behaviour be stopped or is it inherent to the nature of VBA?

PS, I'm using "With" as that's what Macro Recording gives me.

Thanks.
