Effectively password protect a Workbook and Macros

Hi all!
I'm having a hard time trying to create a password protected document in Excel that is robust to password recover programs like Passware. I would like to protect some cells and macros but Passware always finds the password in seconds when I use the Excel password protection system, and it doesn't need to find the same password to work... Should I use VBA instead? Can anyone give me some help with the code?

1) When opening workbook, holding SHIFT disables macros to run.
2) Sheet protection and VBA project protection are useless.

So, there is not a way to protect it? Just creating an Add-In?
