Code:
Dim i As Range
Set i = Range("s2:s6")
For Each i In Range("s2:s6")
If i.Value < 3 Then MsgBox "a"
ElseIf i.Value > 3 And i.Value < 5 Then MsgBox "b"
Next i

I can't figure out what is wrong with the above code. The error message says "else without if"

Excel Facts

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
You are using line style If statements
Either use
Code:
If i.Value < 3 Then MsgBox "a" Else If i.value < 5 Then MsgBox "b"

or switch to block style

Code:
If i.Value < 3 Then
    MsgBox "a"
ElseIf iValue < 3 Then
    MsgBox "b"
End If
