embed function in Excel

I am using the following function "EMBED("Excel.Sheet.12","")" to create a summary page with links to hidden worksheets in the same spreadsheet. I have 19 links and when you double click on each link, it brings up the corresponding sheet from the workbook that I am working on. However,even though I have hidden all of the other tabs on the workbook, when the sheet comes up, it shows all of the tabs. I want it to only show the worksheet that corresponds to the link. I am using Microsoft Office 2007.
