I have an embedded date in my sheet. I have it snapped to grid in the cell. When I stretch it, the drop down arrow moves over, but it still cuts off part of the date where it was. I want to reformat the date so it all shows and is larger. Can any one tell me how to format, the usual ways don't seem to work.

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
I am assuming it is a Active-X control.
  1. Right click on the control and select 'Properties..'
  2. The property box will open.
  3. Click on the SelectionMargin property and set it to False. This will remove the left margin
  4. Click on the Font property.
  5. A font box will open.
  6. Select a smaller font (11 is default, change it to 6 or 7). Click OK
  7. Check how it looks. Adjust font size further if required
Any particular reason why you are using an active-X control? The Form control does not stretch in the same way as the ActiveX. Also ActiveX controls do not work on MacBooks.
