I need to make alot of links from one spreadsheet to a bunch of spreadsheets. I know that I can easily copy data from one spread sheet to another by copy and pasting ranges of cells. But! how can I easily create links between sheets. I also know that I can create individual links by =<click on cell to be linked to> <enter>, but this is tedius and time consuming.

I'm considering making a vba script that sets the formula of the cells to the cells to be linked to, but this is not working.

How can I set links from one large set of cells to another set of cells from a different file?

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Try this: Copy, then go to destination and click Edit/Past Special/Paste Link. That may save you the time you are seeking. Good luck! /s/ Larry
