I am searching the forums but I can't seem to piece this together.

Here is what I want to do.

I have various item commodity types. e.g Valves, Pipe, Compressors, Motors, etc. and each of them have different attributes/specifications that describe them.

Now I want to create an excel sheet which allows a user to select a row and state the commodity type from a predefined dropdown list or combo box. Depending on the choosen commodity type the appropriate cells to the right of it are highlighted in red thereby showing the user that these fields are mandatory for this item type.

I trust I have explained this ok.

Any assitance will be greatly appreciated.
