Hi

Have workbook that when opened by certain users, certain sheets are hidden in the workbook open event, However sometimes it doesn't fire until the user clicks enable macros.
Therefore they can see the hidden sheets until they click Enable Macros

I thought about Workbook close Event to Hide all the sheets when it closes, but the workbook is ReadOnly so 2 users can use it at same time

Is there a better way to make sure the sheets aren't visible?

Thanks

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
There is no reason that the file has to be Read Only. If it is in a shared network location, two users can still use it at the same time.

Don't have access to create shared folders/network locations

If it's Read Only then you just need to save it with the sheets already hidden before you give it to users, and then unhide them for the privileged users when the file opens.

It's when edits are made by privileged users. If they forget to hide before making read only

But you said the file is Read Only. What do mean the users are making it Read Only?

Make Edits to the Read Only File. Save file as Normal(Not Read Only) close the File. Change Properties of File Back to Read Only

Issue is when they Save File as a Normal File and Forget to Hide the Sheets before closing
