enableing macros

how do i enable macros? I was trying to set a quote sheet to produce a new number every time i opened it i was able to find a mrexcel video to walk me thrue it but when i tried to implament it i could not figure out how to enable my macros setting.

On the Developer tab click Macro Security and set it to the lowest setting, and tick Trust access to the VBA...
