Hi,
I know this is a long shot but I am hoping someone can help me figure out what I did to a file using ADO. I watch a video that showed me how to do it online but this all took place back in 2011. Whatever I did I believe encrypted the data in the column and added a line to the top with ÌÔMSTAR_MM_FILEÿÿÿÿ. I did not use any coding and I could access the options with shortcut keys. I am not sure of the particular version of ADO (I thinki it was 2.6) but it worked with other versions just the option I picked is only in one version. I may have also had to refence ADOX or DAO 3.6 but I am not 100% sure on that.
I do recall going through some dialog boxes picking options and advanced buttons to seeing two columns with options in it. From memory when i picked one in the right column it changed the options in the left column ( I remember thinking that was backwards). Most of them did nothing but the particular one changed the column data, then I would cancel instead of clicking the execute button.
The reason This is important is I did it to a bitcoin wallet that I added the particular account to the top of the data, converted to CSV then did what I saw in the video.

If someone knows what I may be talking about please help.

Because I did it to a csv file most of it just shows boxes so viewing it will not help.

It was not my only copy but my other backups are either missing or corrupted so I am left with just this copy of it which I kept on my old usb.
I cannot really explain it too much more than that. I just hope that the right person reads this and knows what I am talking about.
