Hi all,

I need a formula that will always display 31/12/previous year

So in the cell at the moment we would have 31/12/2010
On the first of January next year, the cell would then change to display 31/12/2011.

Seems like it should be simple enough, but I can't figure it out.

Thanks

Chris

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.

Try...

=DATE(YEAR(TODAY())-1,12,31)

Here's another one that's a few keystrokes shorter...

=DATE(YEAR(NOW()),1,0)
