Hi All,

I have a coworker who would like to enter dates in excel without using a slash. So for example, she wants to enter in 011804 and have it display 01/18/04, or 01/18/2004...when we do this though, with the cell formatted to date, the date is displayed as 04/25/1932 heheh.

Is this possible? I'm using Excel 2003, SP1, and she has Excel 2000 SP3. Thanks in advance for your help!!!

TREMENDOUS!!! this did the trick for me in 2003, but my coworker in 2000 is getting a weird stop error.....not sure why, but I'll try to resolve getting IT to get her upgraded.

just_jon, thank you also for your link....VB code scares me, so I try not to use it whenever possible hehehhe.

Thanks a lot!!!!
