Hi,

I have an annoying problem. The default value in the print what section is 'entire workbook' so if I forget to change this manually, I kill a lot of trees if i don't cancel quick.

I searched already several times on the net for a solution but the only threads I found are the other way around : how to change from print active sheets to print entire workbook which can only be done by vba code according the threads.

But there should be somewhere a property that says to my excel to take as default print entire workbook.

I tried to reinstall my office package but this didn't work.
I also search in personal.xls if there was any code but I didn't find there anything.

In general there is something wrong with my printer defaults because if I want to use vba code to change for example printing settings my excel version will not perform this code. If I save the code and run it in the excel version of a colleague, this is working. :eeek:

for example I can't record the code to print a file to pdf.
If I type in the code and save the file, it is not executed at my pc but at a colleague's pc it is working.

I hope that someone can tell me where the problem is because it's really really really annoying + you save the environment ;)
