Good day to all!
Here's my dilemma, I have two columns, A has the equipment #, B has the equipment name. On another work sheet I have a dropdown menu where I choose the equipment name. I have also to enter tne equipment name on a separate spot once I select the name. How do I select the name and have it to automatically enter the right number in a specific cell.

I want to select the equipment name in one cell and the equipment number in another, all done from the pulldown menu.

Thanks in advance!

Regards!

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Thanks just_jon, I gave it a try and it didn't seem to work. Am I missing something?

Regards!
