I use a program that runs CASL Macros. And the macros are setup to retrieve certain data, and then open a specific Excel file, and paste the data there. However upon exiting the Excel file, If I re-open that file the data is still there.

Is there a VB code I can write that will erase anything on that file upon exiting???

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Something like this maybe:

Code:
Private Sub Workbook_BeforeClose(Cancel As Boolean)
    Sheets("Sheet1").Cells.ClearContents
End Sub

Or do you need to delete data on all sheets as well?
