Hi,

I have an add-in that I sued for many years without issue. Suddenly, I've encounted an issue when Excel starts I get what can only described as an error (see imge)

If I click Help nothing happens and it I clik OK, I get a message that says "Excel is running into problems with the add-in. If this keeps happening, disable the add-in and check for available updates. Do you want to disable it now?"
Choose Yes, Excel closes and restarts with the add-in disabled.

I've tried to narrow down the issue by exporting all modules & forms and then re-importing one-by-one. And issue is possibly linked to a Form. But why I haven't a clue why.

Any tips/help would be most welcome.

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
Have you checked for updates to the addin & installed them ?
Have you updated excel recently ?
Have you tried removing the addin.....and reinstalling it !

It's my add-on. Have changed recently but going back to an older version still has the same issue.

Am going to attempt an excel repair and see what happens from there.

Any of the worksheets protected ??

None of the worksheets are protected.

I am thinking of testing in a virtual environment

No Workshets are protected.

So I've done an Office repair and decided this time to use a very old version that I know worked and caused no issue. Still get the same problem.

The only change I've had recently is upgrading from Office 2016 to 365 but then I've had that from a few weeks and had no problem. So seems something has gone and messed up Excel application.

I'm going to try this in a Virtual enviroment with a fresh office install (a pain with my snail's pace internet) and see what happens. If that works then it's looking like either an uninstall office or complete reinstall of Windows!! Unless anyone has an answer of course.. ?
