Error Checking Options in a File

Hello All,

You know that usually when using formulas you get a green flag indicating that there is an "error" (for example when a formula refers to empty cells). That's cool for my everyday use, but I have a specific file for which I do not want those flags to show, and not just for me, but for other users that will be using the file in their systems (with probably different excel versions). Is there a way to force hidding those flags for that specific file?

Thanks!

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
For reference and searching purposes what you are looking for is called Background Error Checking. From what I was able to find it appears that it is an Application level setting so it can't be applied to an individual workbook only. Therefore, it has to be changed on each install of Excel that the workbook is used on. It can either be set in Excel Option or VBA so there are some possible workarounds.

Check out this thread - Can I Disable background error checking markers in the file?

Thanks Ralajer. I checked the thread that you said but it will not work for the purposes of my specific file (although it may be useful in the future).
