I'm trying to run a Power Query on data I imported from QuickBooks to Excel. I'm comparing two ledgers from the same company to find which transactions are in both ledgers, which are in one and not the other and vice versa, however, whenever I run the query I get the above error message. I assume the query itself is working because when I run the inner join it tells me 48,164 records of 63,188 total have matched. It brings up the error when it tries to create a table. I am right-clicking "Balance Sheet", clicking "Merge", choosing two columns to match (date and name) and hitting Okay. I did see this error message can be caused by cells not being formatted correctly so I formatted the Date column as date and the Name column as text. Can somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong, thank you in advance.

in line Changed Type you've definition of convert to number
so DD1221 is a reason why you getting error via line Changed Type (probably)
I didn't see your M so you need to find reason and effect yourself

without the source data and code, it's all just a theory
