Hello, I am getting the following error message on startup. I have indeed deleted the addin but I cannot work out how to break the links that make this message appear. Any help would be appreciated.
I am running Excel 2016.

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
I think you just create a dummy xla file. then remove it later. ;)

Thanks for the help but I still get the same message depite creating the file as you suggested.

Check if the file is in default xla location... or perhaps the xla Excel is seaching for was not located at default location.

I appreciate your help but I am not solving this. I had a look at the link you suggested and did a Google search as well. I have the correct file path (I think) and have saved as XLA and XLAM versions as well just to see if that would help. Arrgghh! I will have to get used to it I think

I don't know if re-install Office will do. No headache :)

I had this problem long ago but could not recall how it was solved.
