Hello there,

I just installed the HTMLMaker 2.42 and when I open Excel, it gives me this error:
Error Number= 2147319779
Error Discrp:=Object Library not installed
You may have to manually set a reference to the [Microsoft Scripting Runtime].
If I uncheck the HTML add-in, the error goes away.

Windows 98SE
Excel 2000
HTMLMaker file is in Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\Add-ins.

It installed fine, and there is that HTML window sitting between "Window" and "Help."

If I notice that this file is apparently for Windows XP. Is this the problem? If so, is there a work around.

Check the FAQ (link is in my signature below). :)

Hi Kristy,

I'm sorry. I forgot to include in my post above that I went through the FAQ; I did the fix for the "Error: Compile error." or "Can't find project or library...." I found one "missing" box checked and I unchecked it.

I've also tried the "Error: Error Number: 91, Object Variable or with Block variable not set..." error fix, but there was nothing in the Trusted Sources.

I'm now going to http://www.mrexcel.com/board2/viewtopic.php?t=107231 (that extra link under the "Error: "Compile error."" or "Can't find project or library..." information)..........

Ok, based on the instructions in that extra link, I'm in the VBA windowa and have selected HTMLMaker (on the left side). In Tools>References, there's nothing there saying "Missing," but I'm still going to uncheck the "Microsoft Outlook 9.0 Library," which, by the way, happens to be selected at the moment. I'm saving and closing the VBA window...closed out of Excel and am reopening it...nope. Same error.

Don't know what else to do.
