ERROR NUMBER:= 91

Hi guys,

I got a little problem when I start Excel.
I get a popup what says:

Error number:= 91
Error discrp:= Object variable or With block variable not set
You may have to manually set a reference to the [VBIDE = VBE6EXT.OLB]

Does somebody know what I must do now?

Steff,

PRess Alt+F11 to go to the Visual Basic editor, in the left panel (Project - VBA Project) select a 'potential' troublemaker (freshly added some add-in?) and go to Tools > References.

Once in the References, click on Browse and add the reference to the missing file:

"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VBA\VBA6\vbe6ext.olb"

Don't forget to Save the file.

How can I select it?

Usually, "in the left panel (Project - VBA Project)" you would see several VBA Projects. One of them is causing your problem. Most of the time, problem arises immediately after some changes were added to the system, like installation of an plug-in, or add-on...

Click OK to get rid of the dialog box and go to the Tools->Macros->Security. Click the Trusted Sources tab and check the box next to "trust access to Visual Basic Project," and click OK.
