I have a program which automatically accesses the internet. On occasion when I attempt to access the internet I get an error message stating:
The internet was not accessable. There are 2 buttons one of which says "work offline" and the other says "try again". If I touch "try again" it has always connects right away. Unfortunately if my program gets this message it is dead in the water until I can intervene. Does anyone have an idea as to how I can prevent this error message from stopping the computer? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Frank

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!

I assume you're accessing the internet from Excel using VBA, or you wouldn't be posting here....

How about testing for an internet connection as soon as your prog starts up........

... if there's no connection use application.quit before your problems start.

I've seen a few posts about this, so have a good troll through the board and you should get what you need.
