kind of a wierd ? here but here goes:

i highlighted my range (B2 to M255) and wanted to do an find and replace for all "qryz" in the range to be changed to "qrys".

my issue is that i fat fingered the "z" (meaning excel was now looking for something that didn't exist) and therefore wnated me to save.....or a msg box poped up.

actually the msg box poped up (i believe) for every cell int he range?

is htere a quick way to exist this msg box when you know that you may have made an error?

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
I expect you got the "File not found" dialog, which Excel shows when a formula contains an invalid external link. As far as I know, there isn't a way to stop them all being shown, other than the rather drastic Ctrl+Alt+Del. Holding your finger on Esc might help.
