I have seen similar errors posted to the board without much in the way of a permanent solution. I thought I would share my difficulties in the hope of finding a common theme and possibly a solution.

I'm fairly certain that the culprit is this function which deletes specified objects on the current worksheet:

Code:
Function DeleteCurrentObject()
  Dim wsCurrent As Worksheet
  Set wsCurrent = ActiveWorkbook.ActiveSheet
  Dim Elevation As String
  On Error Resume Next
  Elevation = wsCurrent.Cells(28, 50).Value
  wsCurrent.Shapes(Elevation).Delete
  Elevation = wsCurrent.Cells(29, 50).Value
  wsCurrent.Shapes(Elevation).Delete
End Function

What seems odd is that this has worked perfectly for more than a month. I've only encountered the problem after making some simple changes.

As always, any input is apprechiated.
