Hello,

I am trying to calculate time of completion for production. The standard is 90 items an hour per person. There are 500 items to complete. If the time now is 4pm, then what time would it be to complete the 500 items if I have 3 people working. Please help I am stumped.
Thanks

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
90 items/hr
500 items

It should take 500/90 hr to complete that
Now is 16:00:00, so the work should be done at 16:00:00+TIME(500/90,0,0).
Except that TIME takes the INT of its argument so =16:00:00+(500/90)/24 would be a better formulation.
