Hi all.
i searched the board and i found how to convert dates (which didn't work for me)
and there is lots of info on how to convert dates, BUT the data that im receiving is DUMB because im getting MIXED data and excel can read SOME of it but not all of it... and its SUPER anoying...
is there a way, to force data to US format? wether it be with a formula or VBA?

its like Excel reads 9/1/2020 as a date cell BUT instead of Jan the 9th... it reads it as Sep 1 (which makes sense in the u.s.) but.... the data was meant to be Jan 09 2020...

then theres data that excel fails to recognize.... like 13/01/2020 which is supposed to be Jan 13 2020, and i can tell it failed to recognize it because its left aligned...

pls help.

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Select the column & on the Data tab select Text to Columns > Delimited > Next > uncheck all boxes > Next > Select date & DMY from dropdown > Finish

You're welcome & thanks for the feedback.
The trick is to select the date format in the original file, not the format you want.
