I wanted to lock a single cell in a page, so I followed instructions in Help. The result was that the cell was locked, but so was the ribbon. How can I keep the ribbon alive?

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)

It also depends on what restrictions you placed on the protected sheet !
When you protected sheet there were a number of checkboxes you could have selected to allow users to do certain things.
When these are checked certain parts of the Ribbon are still active !
