Hello,

I have not used Macros on Excel for a while, and I seem to be missing some of the updated info.

I have recorded a macro and it asked where I should save it, I specified one fo the 3 defaults to be Personal Macro Workbook.

but when I try to find it to run it later I cannot find it anywhere, and the location Personal Macro Workbook is nowhere to be found, there is a location PERSONAL.XLSB, but that does not contain the macro I am looking for.

Anyone have any clues to help me on this latest challenge, please?

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Personal.xlsb is the personal macro workbook.

Hello,

Ok, Thanks, but my recorded Macros are not there???? I am assuming this is where they would be to allow me to run them after the recording.

Depends what it is set up for when you record the macro...

Hello,

The situation has changed somewhat, coincidentally my version of Excel etc has just been updated, and I am not sure what happened during the update, but I lost my Developer tab on the toolbar, which i have reinstated now.

Also, I noted that Under the VBA Project (PERSONAL.XSLB) I had to double click on the Modules Tab to see the detail within ( i am not sure if that was the case before the update).

However panic over I probably made a few stupid mistakes and did not check things out properly, so all well now, and thanks for your assistance.

I will try and be more careful before raising an issue next time.
