Excel 2000 macros

I have Excel 2002. The exact steps to record a macro are:
Tools
Macro
Record New Macro
Name the macro
Create description
OK

I need to know if the first 6 steps are exactly the same in Excel 2000. if there is any difference, please list the steps as above.
