How does one "batch delete" names in a worksheet ?

I have a workbook with 6 worksheets linking and now I have to rename the name fields therefore deleting what was previously there .. I have been doing it individually but this is quite monotonous .. I would prefer to delete and start over but if there is a simpler way .. then I am open to suggestion! Thank you!

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
ckaye,

WELCOME to the Board!!

This will delete the names.
Code:
For Each nnn In ActiveWorkbook.Names
   nnn.Delete
Next
using "search" on top of the page you will find other examples using Names

kind regards,
Erik

Thank you Erik but if I read your response correctly this will only delete one at a time .. what I want to do is basically highlight all then delete all .. CK

There doesn't exist a macro method to delete them all at once.
But this macro will delete all names in very very short time...

kind regards,
Erik
