Help.
Can anyone advise how to create a multi series combined stacked chart for different depts..
Data comprises standard weekly hrs, overtime hrs and offloaded hrs.
Alongside each other, for each dept, I require 1 bar for offloaded hrs + 1 bar with overtime hrs stacked on top of std hrs.
Sorry if not explained too well.
Thanks
Craig A Hawley

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
craigh,

I can only get it done in 2d (no 3D, sorry) and the one single plot is not beside but overlayed the stacked components, but it may suit your purposes.

Create a stacked bar chart with the 3 items.

Select the one item that you want alone, and format the series. From the axis tab, select secondary. From the options tab, adjust the gap setting up/down until this series reveals the other series.

For each department, you will now have one stacked column and one individual column.
