Hi - I've got a 2003 workbook with about 40 charts. Our office is converting to 2010 and i've been testing the 2003 in 2010. I'm finding that the charts are coming over correctly, but on each chart 1 (out of 6) of the Data Labels is not displayed correctly. The formatting is correct, but the 1 label is no longer aligned as the other Data Labels are. I've gone to the "Chart Tools" / "Layout" / "Data Labels" and tried to adjust it / move it, etc, but nothing works.

has anyone come across this issue?

I've got a copy of Excel 2010 Bible and in it is indicates that Data Labels can be moved by selecting the data label and dragging it, but everytime I drag it, it defaults back to being misaligned.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thx,
GRC

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
All but the simplest Excel 2003 charts may not render as expected in Excel 2007/2010. If the workbook will only be used in Excel 2007/2010, it might be worthwhile to rebuild the charts.
