Hello

I am trying to get a the number of cells that have a value of 1 in each column from the following table

SR</SPAN>Email in</SPAN>Email Out</SPAN>
1-100000042-7</SPAN>1</SPAN>1</SPAN>
1-105414900-7</SPAN>1</SPAN>1</SPAN>
1-109295564-7</SPAN>1</SPAN>1</SPAN>
1-112045199-7</SPAN>1</SPAN>1</SPAN>
1-120700322-7</SPAN>1</SPAN>1</SPAN>
1-125862229-7</SPAN>1</SPAN>1</SPAN>
1-125970213-7</SPAN>1</SPAN>1</SPAN>
1-125998569-7</SPAN>1</SPAN>1</SPAN>
1-126474609-7</SPAN>1</SPAN>1</SPAN>
1-126768968-7</SPAN>1</SPAN>1</SPAN>

<TBODY>
</TBODY><COLGROUP><COL><COL span=2></COLGROUP>

I have tried using the following formula

COUNTIF((B1:B10,"=1") and (C1:C10,"=1"))

But it is not working. Can you advise what I am doing wrong.

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Thanks for the update Peter.

I have added this to the workbook and it delivers an value of 0. I have also used the Ctrl, shift and enter option and still comes back with 0.

I was expecting a result of 10. Am I doing anything wrong? Any other ideas?

Regards
