Excel 2003 issues

I have a worksheet that i created with a data table that feeds into multiple other tabls that are pivot tables. This was created in excel 2007. A colleague is attempting to use the same worksheet in 2003 and it will not allow the data to refresh through all the other tabs.
Is this a compatibility issue with the two different versions?
